Tasted next to the 2015 Le Dôme and 2014 Vieux Château Mazerat. Darker, more brooding, showing more depth and structure than the latter. Quite a lot of oak coming through at this stage. Quite spicy on nose and palate, ripe fruit, but also fresh, mineral, grippy. Fine length. Doesn’t have the. Oncentration and power of the 2015, but still very promising.
