Nose: Super green and fresh: aromas of rocket leaf, asparagus and an outdoor-ish petrichor. Then there's a burst of zesty orange juice, rich tea biscuits and a red fruit kick. There's a floral quality, too. Palate: This time it opens with blood orange and raspberry, before there's cinnamon spice, pepper and a nuttiness that smooths the whole thing out. Finish: Really quite long and defined by that juicy orange vibe. Overall: A real chameleon of a whisky – and a delicious one at that. It changes a LOT in the glass and you get all kinds coming through. Intriguing indeed.
