The nose on this Junmai is all steamed rice and earthy. Whitewall uses Gohyakumangoku brewing rice milled to 60% and this is evident by its deep earthy richness. Drinks far drier than the SMV indicates and is filled with layers of rice and grains. A good value sake to explore the rich and earthy tones found in a balanced sake that is brewed with amazing water. Does well chilled and even better warmed.
