These Grüner Veltliner grapes are sourced from two 30-year-old single vineyards in the villages of Halbturn and Andau, which are situated between the Danube river and Lake Neusiedl. The vines are deeply-rooted in the sandy clay soils that cover the slopes of the vineyards. They are tended to manually and the grapes go through rigorous hand selection before the fermentation process. After fermentation, the wine spends two months resting on its fine lees, which provides the von Kisel Grüner Veltliner with a touch of richness and texture on the palate.
